Asia Book of Records & India Book of Records honour Mising Autonomous Council

The Mising Autonomous Council has made history by being recognized by the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for successfully training 200 educated unemployed youth as hairdresser in 2022. This remarkable achievement is part of the council's broader efforts to empower youth and promote economic development in the region.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Executive Member Paramananda Chayengia, the council has been implementing various schemes to address unemployment and provide skills for self-employment. The hairdresser training program is one such initiative that has not only equipped the youth with new skills but also enabled them to secure government jobs or start their own businesses.

The recognition ceremony, held at the Mising Sports Carnival ground in Gogamukh, was a grand affair attended by dignitaries, including Lok Sabha MP Pradan Baruah. Sanjay Bhola, Observer of Asia Book of Records, presented the certificates to the Chief Executive Member of the Mising Autonomous Council, congratulating the council on this outstanding achievement.
