The All Assam Minorities Students' Union (AAMSU) has strongly condemned the government's actions, accusing the Border Police of turning into a "factory for declaring Indians as foreigners". According to AAMSU president Rejaul Karim Sarkar, the police have been subjecting minorities to immense torture on the instructions of the Chief Minister.

The AAMSU alleges that the government is falsely labelling Indian citizens as foreigners, with Momor Ali's case being a prime example. The union accuses the police of subjecting minorities to immense torture and atrocities, and demands that the government take responsibility for its actions.

The AAMSU has demanded that the government provide a chance to present their documents to those in detention and holding centres to help them prove their citizenship. They have also called for an end to atrocities against minorities and ensure their safety and security. Furthermore, the union demands that the government be held accountable for allegedly labelling Indian citizens as foreigners and take action against those responsible.

Rejaul Karim Sarkar has directly accused Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of orchestrating these actions to retain power. The situation is tense, and AAMSU has warned that if the atrocities against minorities don't stop, the situation might worsen.
