Amid the widespread outrage, a youth from Assam’s Gauripur area has been detained by police for allegedly supporting the incident through social media.AdvertismentThe detained individual has been identified as Babul Hussain, a resident of Baniyamari Sixth Block village under Gauripur. According to police sources, Hussain recorded a video expressing support for the incident in Bangladesh and uploaded it to social media platforms.Soon after the video surfaced online, Gauripur police took the youth into custody.
