The reopening ceremony, scheduled for 11 am, will be attended by Chandramohan Patowary, Minister of Forest and Environment, Assam, as the chief guest. Other notable guests include Jagiroad MLA Pijush Hazarika, Morigaon MLA Ramakanta Deori, and Tiwa Autonomous Council's Chief Executive Member Jiban Chandra Konwar, along with senior forest officials.AdvertismentThe sanctuary was forced to reopen late due to damage to its internal roads caused by recent floods. Despite the setback, the sanctuary is gearing up to welcome tourists with its unique wildlife and scenic beauty.In the previous year, Pobitora attracted 34,390 domestic and foreign tourists, generating a revenue of ₹61,26,425.
