Speaking at a government event in Bajali district, Dass said, “Himanta Biswa Sarma will once again become the Chief Minister of Assam. Our party workers are working tirelessly to make the BJP more dynamic and strong.”

He described the coming 128 days as a “test” for the BJP and reiterated the party’s organisational readiness: “We are completely prepared for the elections. Even if polls are held ten days from now or a month from now, the BJP is ready. If elections are held on time, we will form the government again, and even if they are advanced, we will win at least 90 seats.”

The senior minister also highlighted the government’s welfare and development agenda, stating, “There will be no ‘kaccha’ (mud or temporary) houses left in Assam – every house will be pucca (permanent). The Central government will soon approve another ten lakh new houses under various schemes.”

Dass’s strong remarks come amid growing speculation about early Assembly polls in the state, with the BJP intensifying its organisational activities and outreach programmes across Assam.
