Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited's Bongaigaon Project launches commercial Formalin sales

The Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited's (APL) Bongaigaon project has officially become production-ready, marking a significant milestone with the commencement of commercial sales of formalin. Located in Dhaknabari, Bongaigaon district, this project is APL's fourth unit and signifies a major breakthrough for the company.

The project has already started yielding results, with a convoy carrying 150 tons of formalin beginning its journey to West Bengal and neighboring Bhutan, signifying the start of exports and expanding APL's market reach. This development is expected to boost the company's presence in the region and open up new avenues for growth.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chairman Bikul Chandra Deka, Vice-Chairman Hemanta Kumar Gogoi, and senior APL officials, underscoring the project's importance. Chairman Deka expressed that this initiative will positively impact the socio-economic landscape of the region, bringing new opportunities and growth.
