Renowned geologist Vinayananda Bharali has taken the helm as the new Resident Chief Executive of OIL India Limited's Regional Headquarters in Duliajan.

Vinayananda Bharali, a distinguished geologist, has assumed charge as the new Resident Chief Executive of OIL India Limited's Regional Headquarters in Duliajan. Bharali, a native of Jorhat district, brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, having served OIL India for over three decades.

Bharali joined OIL Duliajan in March 1995 as an Executive Trainee in the Geology and Reservoir Department and has since made significant contributions to the company's exploration and development activities. Prior to his current appointment, he served as a geologist in the Geology and Reservoir Department at Duliajan before being transferred to OIL's Corporate Office in Noida in 2015.

He then served as Executive to Chairman & Managing Director for three years until March 2025, followed by a promotion to Director, Geology. Bharali succeeds Rupjyoti Phukan, who retired on October 31 after serving as OIL's Resident Chief Executive for the past year.
