Priyanka Gandhi’s Packed Schedule on Second Day in Assam

Guwahati: The second day of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Assam visit is packed with a series of crucial organisational meetings aimed at strengthening the party’s structure in the state ahead of upcoming Assembly elections.

According to the official schedule, Priyanka Gandhi will arrive at Rajiv Bhawan at 9:30 AM. Shortly thereafter, at 9:35 AM, she will hold meetings with the presidents of various party cells to review organisational activities and assess grassroots preparedness.

She is also scheduled to meet the three working presidents of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee to deliberate on strategic matters and coordination within the party. In a separate session, she will interact with the four chairpersons of the party’s election committees, focusing on electoral planning and booth-level mobilisation.

The Congress leader will further hold a dedicated meeting with Leader of the Opposition Debabrata Saikia to discuss the political situation in the state.

Following the conclusion of these meetings, Priyanka Gandhi is slated to depart for New Delhi at 1:30 PM.

Her visit is being viewed as significant for the Assam Congress, as it signals renewed central leadership engagement with the state unit at a crucial juncture.
