Media personnel from print, electronic, and digital organisations were invited to cover the event.442 Former Cadres Receive ₹2 Lakh EachMinister Jayanta Mallabaruah announced that 442 former BLT members residing outside the BTC region received financial assistance, with ₹2 lakh granted to each beneficiary under the state’s continued efforts to implement the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord.He stated that nearly 9,022 former members across five organisations have already returned to the mainstream since the accord. “The BJP-led NDA government has proved that peace and understanding can drive progress and prosperity in Assam,” he said.Hagrama Mohilary Supports ST Status for Six CommunitiesBTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary reiterated his support for granting Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the six communities of Assam, calling for constitutional amendments if required.He recalled that during the Bodoland movement, Assam’s intellectuals and civil society urged dialogue instead of division.“Assam never wanted to be divided, and we too chose discussion over separation.
