Ranabaali release: Reel to Real Couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Upcoming film after their wedding

Newlywed star couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are coming back together on screen in Ranabaali. This is their first film together after their wedding in Udaipur on February 26.

The movie is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and is set in 19th-century India. Vijay plays a brave freedom fighter, while Rashmika appears as Jayamma. Also, a recently released song, Endhayya Saami, shows their strong on-screen chemistry.

Ranabaali Release Details

Ranabaali is releasing in theatres on September 11, 2026. The film is a pan-India project and will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. This will allow audiences across the country to enjoy the historical drama from home after its theatre run.

Story and Cast

The film is set between 1850 and 1900, during British rule in India. It is inspired by real historical events from a time of strong colonial oppression. The makers say they used historical records, oral stories, and research to recreate the era as realistically as possible.

The movie also features Arnold Vosloo, known for The Mummy, as the main villain. Vijay plays the lead character Ranabaali, a fearless freedom fighter, while Rashmika plays Jayamma. Vosloo appears as Sir Theodore Hector.

Pramod Tammineni writes the story. The music is composed by Ajay-Atul, cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah, and Karthika Srinivas R. does editing. Mythri Movie Makers produces the film in association with T-Series.
