Zee 24 Ghanta Binodone Sera 24: “Onko Ki Khothin” and “The Eken – Benaras E Bibhishika” Win Best Film Award

Zee 24 Ghanta has announced the entertainment awards event, “Binodone Sera 24.” The grand award ceremony took place on January 29, 2026, in Rajarhat, Kolkata, highlighting notable achievements in the Bengali cinema industry. 

In the Best Film category, “Onko Ki Khothin”, directed by Saurav Palodhi, and “The Eken – Benaras E Bibhishika”, directed by Joydeep Mukharjee, won the Best Film award.

The nominees include Aamar Boss, Dhumketu, Ei Raat Tomar Amaar, Grihapravesh, Onko Ki Kothin, Projapoti 2, Raghu Dakat, Sharthopor, and The Eken: Benaras e Bibhishika.

These films come from multiple genres, including drama, thriller, family stories, and literary adaptations, reflecting the range and evolution of contemporary Bengali filmmaking. 

Zee 24 Ghanta Binodone Sera 24 stands for honesty, transparency, and unity within the entertainment industry. 

The award night began with an open nomination process, where production houses, studios, television channels, and music labels were invited to submit their best work from the eligible period.

All entries were carefully reviewed by a confidential and independent jury made up of respected industry experts, with the process monitored by an independent research agency. The winners were selected purely based on merit, quality, and creative excellence.
