US President Donald Trump weighed in after Poland reported a series of drone incursions across its territory, warning that Russia had crossed a dangerous line. Posting on his Truth Social account, Trump wrote, What’s with Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones? Here we go!

The remarks came after Poland confirmed as seven drones, along with debris from an unidentified object, had been discovered in overnight airspace violations. This situation triggered a nationwide security alert and drew alarmed responses from Warsaw and across Europe.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk told lawmakers that the country faced its most perilous security crisis since the end of World War Two. While he stopped short of suggesting that war was imminent, Tusk declared that a dangerous threshold had been crossed.

I have no reason to claim we’re on the brink of war, but a line has been crossed, and it’s incomparably more dangerous than before. This situation brings us the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two, Tusk said.

Authorities revealed that five drones and related debris were discovered in the eastern Lublin province, near the borders of Ukraine and Belarus. Two others were found farther inside Poland, with one turning up in Mniszków and another near the Baltic-side city of Elbląg.

Moscow Denies Responsibility, The Kremlin quickly dismissed accusations of involvement. Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov rejected the claims as groundless, insisting that no evidence had been presented proving Russian links to the incursions. He accused European and NATO officials of routinely blaming Moscow without substantiating their charges.

Europe Condemns Escalation, Despite Moscow’s denials, condemnation poured in from European capitals. French President Emmanuel Macron called the incident simply unacceptable, while European Council President António Costa urged EU nations to ramp up defense investments in response to Russia’s reckless actions.
