Assam: School girl escapes attempted sexual harassment after driver sprays toxic substance

A shocking incident has come to light in Mariani, Jorhat district of Assam where a 9th-grade student was allegedly subjected to attempted rape by a magic vehicle driver while she was on her way to school.

According to reports, the driver, taking advantage of the absence of other passengers, allegedly sprayed a toxic substance on the girl that left her unconscious, and attempted to sexually assault her. However, the girl managed to escape when the magic stopped at the Mariani Rail Gate due to a train crossing.

The incident came to light when she collapsed after reaching school. The victim, a student of Mariani Mahadev Agarwalla Higher Secondary School, was rushed to Mariani Civil Hospital for primary treatment. Later, she was referred to Jorhat Medical College for further treatment.

The police have started their investigation process and have reached the scene to gather evidence. The authorities are taking the matter seriously, and efforts are being made to apprehend the accused driver. The incident has sent shockwaves in the community, and parents are demanding strict action against the perpetrator.
