The safety of devotees is of utmost concern, and puja committees are expected to take necessary measures to ensure their well-being. In case of VIP visits, advance notification to the police is mandatory, so that necessary arrangements are met.

Puja committees are also expected to collaborate with the police in managing traffic around puja venues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic. To maintain decorum and safety, entry of intoxicated individuals is strictly forbidden at puja pandals.

Furthermore, puja committees are obligated to provide basic amenities to devotees, including free drinking water and medical facilities. Help desks will also be set up to cater to any emergencies or queries. Puja pandals are required to adhere to prescribed noise levels, avoiding noise pollution and ensuring a peaceful environment.
