Security forces recovered a mobile phone, a sling bag, and a wallet from his possession.In a separate operation, Salam Kipjen Singh (45), a cadre of the prohibited People’s Liberation Army, was detained in the Tronglaobi area under the Moirang Police Station, Bishnupur District. The security team seized a two-wheeler and a mobile phone during his arrest.Additionally, police reported progress in the investigation of the September 19 ambush on 33 Assam Rifles in Nambol Sabal Leikai, Bishnupur District.One primary suspect was arrested, and the weapons and ammunition used in the attack were recovered. Addressing media speculation, the police clarified that a previously released photograph of the suspect with the seized arms was not altered or photoshopped.To ensure transparency, they have released the photograph again, alongside the recovered items.
