His body was discovered hanging from a tree at the Basic Ground near Kakching Police Station, with a traditional Meitei loincloth, known as a Khudei, tied around his neck.According to family members, Anish left home around 4 p.m. on Sunday and did not return. Local residents spotted his body at noon on Monday.In a separate incident, 61-year-old Hemam Kumar, a resident of Okshongbung Mandap Maning under Moirang Police Station, was found hanging from a tree in a paddy field in Okshongbung Meikhambi Maril, Bishnupur district. The discovery was reported to the police, who have since launched an investigation.Both cases have been registered as unnatural deaths, and the bodies have been sent to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital for post-mortem examinations.No suicide notes were recovered from either scene, police confirmed, adding that inquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
