According to Dr. Nand Kumar, Professor of Psychiatry at AIIMS New Delhi, the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reported that over 1.7 lakh people died by suicide in India in 2022, with young adults aged 18-30 years accounting for a staggering 35% of these cases.The "Never Alone" program seeks to bridge the gap in mental health support and create a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to seek help.
