According to reports, the CM had watched the movie with his cabinet colleagues when it was first screened. Gogoi questioned why the CM did not declare a holiday or half-day leave for the public on screening of “Roi Roi Binale”.

"The people are the strongest judges, we're also judging," Gogoi said, adding that the CM should have declared a half-day or full-day holiday for the public. He also questioned whether the CM would take his cabinet ministers and MLAs to watch the last movie of Zubeen Garg.

Gogoi's comments come after the AJP team paid tribute to Zubeen Garg's film at a cinema hall in Bijay Nagar. The AJP leader emphasized that in a democracy, the people decide everything, and the government should respect their sentiments.

"The people will see all this, the public will see, and we will also see," Gogoi said, hinting at the potential consequences of the CM's actions.

Meanwhile, Assam CM has mentioned that he will watch 'Roi Roi Binanle' with his entire team at Jonaki Hall soon. The CM made this remark after inaugurating the BSc Nursing College and laying the foundation stone for the Super Specialty Hospital at Lakhimpur Medical College on Friday.
