The ceremony, which began at 10 am, marked a crucial step in the council's functioning.AdvertismentThe members, belonging to the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), took oath in three languages - Bodo, English, and Assamese. Notably, 15 members took oath in Bodo, 14 in English, and 7 in Assamese.Tridip Daimary, the pro-tem Speaker, administered the oath of office to the members.
