The Central Store Unit is managed by a team of eight women officers and staff, led by Senior Manager Sapna Ikka, an alumna of ISM Dhanbad. They will oversee spare parts supply and inventory management using a modern digital platform.The unit's inauguration was attended by senior officials, who praised the team's efforts. The Chairman-cum-Managing Director of SECL, Harish Duhan highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying it aligns with the government's vision of promoting women's participation in the coal sector.This achievement builds on SECL's earlier success in establishing an all-women-operated dispensary. The company is committed to empowering women and promoting self-reliance.
