India Eyes Rebound Against Zimbabwe in Crucial Super Eight Clash

Team India will hope to be back on their winning track when they face Zimbabwe in Match 48 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight stage at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai, on February 26.

The Men in Blue are reeling from a humiliating loss of 76 runs in their first super eight match against South Africa where a stringent half-century by David Miller and a four-wicket loot by Marco Jansen had brought about the batting and bowling frailty of India to light. As the tournament reaches a decisive part the hosts will be pressured to perform well in every aspect and ensure that they will not be eliminated during this campaign.

On the contrary, Zimbabwe also recorded a poor beginning to their Super eight campaign, suffering a 107-run defeat against West Indies.
