Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that with this distribution, the ADRE 2.0 recruitment process formally comes to an end, adding that the government would soon initiate the ADRE 3.0 recruitment process.

Highlighting the government’s employment record, Sarma stated that over the last five years, the state government has provided 1,56,215 government jobs, all against regular posts. He emphasized that the ADRE system has brought transparency and clarity to the recruitment process, ensuring merit-based appointments without corruption.

Among the departments, the Agriculture Department recorded the highest number of appointments, with 1,764 candidates receiving jobs. This was followed by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, where 799 candidates were appointed. The Education Department saw 493 appointments, while 456 candidates were appointed to various Deputy Commissioner (DC) offices across districts. Other departments accounted for fewer than 100 appointments each.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the recruitment process was conducted in a completely transparent manner, free from corruption, allowing candidates to secure government jobs without undue difficulty. He also assured the newly appointed employees that they need not worry about job security or pension-related matters, highlighting reforms undertaken by the government in the employment system.

The ADRE initiative, launched to streamline and centralize government recruitment in Assam, has been widely acknowledged as a major step toward transparent governance and employment generation in the state.
