Speaking about the progress of the war with Iran, Trump said the US military had achieved far more than what was expected in a very short period of time.

“We've accomplished more in one week than anyone thought possible,” Trump said. “We wiped out their navy, 44 ships. We've wiped out their air force, every plane. We wiped out most of their missiles. You see the missiles aren't coming much anymore.”

The US President also claimed that American strikes had severely damaged Iran’s missile manufacturing facilities and drone production capacity.

“We've also hit their manufacturing areas, where they make the missiles, very hard. Their drone capacity is way down,” he said.

According to Trump, US operations have also targeted leadership structures within Iran’s military and political establishment.

“And we've hurt them where it hurts, including about every form of leadership you can have. We've wiped out. The military itself is almost non-existent,” he added.

Trump further asserted that the United States is firmly ahead in the conflict. “We're winning the war by a lot. We've decimated their whole evil empire,” he said, while indicating that the fighting will continue for some more time.

Despite the intensity of the conflict, the US President expressed pride in American troops and their families. “It’ll continue, I’m sure, for a little while, but we are very proud of the people. The war itself is going unbelievably,” he said.

He also acknowledged the emotional toll of the conflict on families of military personnel, stating that “the parents are so proud of their boys” serving in the armed forces.
