Assam: Body of 45-year-old man found on Bhutiyachang riverbank in Udalguri

A shocking incident has come to light in Udalguri, where the body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from the banks of the Bhutiyachang River. The deceased has been identified as Jiten Boro, a resident of the local area.

According to reports, Jiten Boro had left home for work at night but did not return, prompting his family members to search for him in various places. Despite their efforts, they could not find any trace of him.

The next morning, labourers going to work stumbled upon the body on the riverbank and immediately informed the villagers and the village head. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and recovered the body.

The family members of the deceased have expressed suspicion that Jiten Boro was murdered and thrown into the river. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and are working to resolve the circumstances surrounding Jiten Boro's death. The case is currently under investigation.
