Assam's Phaagun Jyoti Secures Double Crown at National Tennis Championships 2025

Rising tennis star Phaagun Jyoti from Assam claimed a remarkable double crown at the All India Ranking National Championships Series Tennis Tournament 2025, held at the Apicem Tennis Academy from October 13 to 17.

The young athlete triumphed in both the under-12 girls' singles and doubles categories, showcasing her prowess on the national stage.

In the singles final, Phaagun dominated Raga Harshini Nadiminti from Andhra Pradesh, securing a convincing victory with a score of 6-0, 6-1. Teaming up with Vanya Pundir from Chhattisgarh in the doubles event, she defeated the pair of Alabhya Harsh from Jharkhand and Brahmani Bonam from Andhra Pradesh 6-1, 6-1, clinching the title with flawless execution.

A dedicated trainee of the All Assam Tennis Association and a student at Holy Child School in Guwahati, Phaagun's achievements highlight her potential and the strong support from her local training ecosystem.
