Numaligarh Horror: Minor Girl Sexually Assaulted, Accused on the Run

A shocking case has emerged from Numaligarh in Golaghat district, Assam, where a minor girl has allegedly been sexually assaulted. The disturbing incident reportedly took place in the Murphulani Tea Estate area.

The accused has been identified as Aditya Paul, a married man and father of three children. The alleged abuse came to light after the girl was found to be pregnant, exposing the crime.

The victim was rushed to Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital in Golaghat in critical condition with the help of Bogijan Police. Due to her worsening health, she was referred to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital for advanced treatment.

Residents allege that the accused had been assaulting the girl for 1–2 months. “Her condition has worsened. She cannot get up on her own and is in a very critical state,” they said.

Meanwhile, Aditya Paul remains absconding. His wife stated, “Earlier, I warned the girl when my husband was physically involved with her, but she denied any relationship. Now she says she is pregnant with my husband’s child. I have been trying to find him, but he has been missing since yesterday, and his phone is unreachable. I don’t know what has happened.”

Police are actively searching for the accused as outrage spreads across the region.
