Quest for Justice: Garima Garg demands answers on Zubeen Garg's mysterious death

The investigation into the death of singer Zubeen Garg is taking new turns every day. Recently, Zubeen's bandmate Shekhar claimed that Zubeen was poisoned by his manager Siddharth. However, Zubeen's wife Garima Garg questioned why Shekhar Goswami remained silent for so long if he indeed knew about the poisoning.

A distraught Garima Garg expressed her shock and grief, saying, "My husband loved everyone, why did he do such a thing?" She demanded severe punishment for those responsible, asserting that the guilty will face the law.

Garima has refused to accept the police's post-mortem report, stating that she trusts the law and believes the investigation is progressing well. "The post-mortem report should be with the court and investigators. I trust the investigation is moving in the right direction, and the guilty will face strict punishment," she said.

Recently, the Chief Minister of Assam visited Zubeen Garg's Kahilipara residence, meeting with Garima Saikia Garg and other family members for nearly an hour. This was the Chief Minister's first visit to Zubeen's residence after the funeral. The Chief Minister assured that justice will be served, stating that a judicial commission will investigate all aspects of the case.

The Chief Minister noted that Shekhar Goswami's statement is just an accused person's claim, and the truth will come out during cross-examination. "The accused can say anything during cross-examination," he said. He also expressed concern about the lack of cooperation from individuals of Singapore’s Assam Association, stating that their absence could hinder the investigation.

The case has taken a significant turn, with the Chief Minister stating that Shekhar Goswami, Shyamkanu, and Siddharth are now in their custody, and they will extract the truth from them at any cost.
