In a statement shared on social media, Chowdhury clarified that the Kharghuli residence will no longer host any political meetings, official discussions, or related engagements. Instead, all political work and administrative interactions will be conducted solely from her government-allotted residence at Dispur Minister’s Colony.

“This is to inform everyone that from today onward, my residence at Kharghuli will be used exclusively for the activities and responsibilities related to the Adharxila Trust and Zubeen Garg. No political work or related engagements will be conducted there henceforth,” she wrote.

She further specified that all political meetings and official interactions would be “concluded and confined” to her government residence in Dispur, effectively separating her cultural initiatives from her public responsibilities.
