Prime Minister Modi used the vehicle during the Mega Bihu event in April 2023 and the Jhumoir Binandini (Jhumur) event in February this year, both of which were held at the Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had also accompanied the Prime Minister at these grand cultural celebrations.

The Mega Bihu event created history with over 11,000 folk dancers, accompanied by traditional musical instruments, performing the Bihu dance in unison. Addressing the massive gathering, PM Modi had described Assam as the “A1 state”.

Earlier, during the Jhumoir Binandini programme, more than 8,800 dancers from the state’s tea tribe communities showcased their vibrant traditional Jhumur dance in a spectacular cultural presentation. The event was graced by the Prime Minister, along with several dignitaries from India and abroad.

Interested buyers wishing to purchase the vehicle used by the Prime Minister must visit the Sarusajai Stadium, where the vehicle has been kept ready for inspection.
