The patrolling party immediately intercepted and searched him. During the search, police recovered a .32 pistol along with three live rounds of ammunition and a magazine from his possession.The accused has been identified as Krishna Das (29), son of Suren Das. He is currently residing at Panjabari Botaghuli, Janasimal, near Guwahati Public School under Satgaon Police Station. His permanent address is Silapathar near the Railway Station in Dhemaji district, Assam.Police said all recovered items were seized following due legal formalities, and the accused was brought to the police station for further questioning.
