The original Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, continues to perform strongly at the box office and remains a hot topic on social media. For those who missed it in theatres or want to watch it again, the film is already streaming on Netflix from 30 January 2026.

While the makers haven’t revealed much, the sequel is expected to pick up directly where the first film left off. Ranveer Singh’s characterHamza was shown to be deeply involved in a criminal and terror network. However, it also became clear that the real masterminds were still in the shadows.

Part 2 is likely to expand the story, with bigger stakes and higher risks. The tone is expected to be darker, focusing more on the consequences of Hamza’s choices. His double life, which was already falling apart, may finally collapse, forcing him to choose between duty and personal revenge. Unlike the first film, which was about survival, this one seems to be about facing the cost of the war he is fighting.
