Rohit Shetty’s popular stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi is ready to return with its 15th season. After a break of one year and will once again be hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty.

Earlier, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was expected to begin shooting in 2025, but the plans were delayed. The show usually airs every year and is known to start after Bigg Boss ends. However, this time, fans have had to wait much longer than usual. On Saturday, the makers shared the announcement on Instagram along with a new AI-generated promo.

Why was Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 delayed?

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was supposed to start shooting by mid-2025, but the show got delayed due to production issues. In April 2025, Banijay Asia, which was producing the show, decided to step away. This happened after Banijay Asia ended its partnership with the Colors TV channel.

At that time, some contestants had already been finalised for the new season. However, after these internal changes, the future of the show became unclear, and production was put on hold.

According to sources, there were plans to move both Bigg Boss 19 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 from Colors TV to Sony TV. Even though these discussions took place, both shows eventually stayed with Colors. While Bigg Boss 19 continued to be produced by Banijay Asia, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 faced uncertainty.

The delay was mainly caused by internal disagreements between Banijay Asia and Endemol, another company involved in production. Because of this, Colors TV reportedly started looking for a new production partner by mid-2025.

Now, it seems that the issues have been sorted out, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is finally back on track.

This time, the promo was created using artificial intelligence (AI). In the video, a woman is shown tied to the front of a speeding truck, which then crashes off a mountain into a deep valley. The promo gives viewers a glimpse of the dangerous, thrilling stunts they can expect in the new season.
