Anxiety Strikes Again: Garima Saikia Garg Admitted to Guwahati Hospital, Condition Stable

Garima Saikia Garg, wife of late singer and music icon Zubeen Garg, was reportedly admitted to a private hospital in Guwahati on Tuesday night after she fell ill due to anxiety-related complications.

According to hospital sources, Garima was admitted to Health City Hospital around 10 PM. Doctors informed that she was suffering from weakness and dehydration when brought in. After initial treatment, her condition has improved and is currently stable.

A doctor from the hospital’s medicine department, Dr. Brajen Lahkar, who is attending to her, said that Garima needs sufficient rest and proper food intake. “She was a bit weak and dehydrated. All necessary tests, including blood tests, ultrasound, and ECG, have been conducted. Once the reports are available, we will decide on her discharge,” Dr. Lahkar informed.

Hospital authorities added that there are no dietary restrictions and she is responding well to treatment.

It may be noted that since the demise of her husband Zubeen Garg, Garima has been reportedly unwell on several occasions and has been under medical observation from time to time.

As per doctors’ advice, she will remain under observation at the hospital for now.
