While three people managed to save themselves and were rushed to the hospital for medical attention, the remaining five were swept away by the strong currents and remain unaccounted for. Their identities have not yet been officially confirmed.Following the incident, the Pandu Fire & Emergency Services Station (F&ESS) alerted emergency response agencies, leading to the quick mobilisation of both NDRF and SDRF teams.
