Since the mission's inception, 5,37,402 rural households have been connected, though this falls short of the target of 6,46,304 households.Out of Meghalaya's 6,456 villages, 4,285 have attained full 100% household tap water coverage. Ongoing works are underway in 2,160 villages, while construction has not yet started in 11 villages.Notably, no district in the state has achieved complete coverage.
