Tragedy in Barhampur: Two lives lost in septic tank incident in Assam

A devastating incident has shaken the residents of Barhampur in Nagaon, where two individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a septic tank.

According to reports, a construction worker, identified as Bhaiti, estimated to be around 35 years old, fell into a septic tank while attempting to open its slab at an under-construction house. In a heroic yet tragic attempt to rescue the trapped worker, the house owner, Mantu Bardoloi, a sub-inspector with the Assam Police, also lost his life.

Mantu Baradoloi, 40, leaves behind a grieving family and colleagues. He was known for his dedication to his work and his commitment to serving the community.
