"In an explosive allegation that has sent shockwaves through India"s political landscape, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Election Commission (EC) of orchestrating a large-scale voter fraud in Haryana.Advertisment Gandhi claimed that what should have been a clear Congress victory was “stolen in broad daylight,” turning democracy itself into a mockery. Launching what he called the “H-Files”, Rahul Gandhi said this wasn"t just about one state — it was about how “vote chori” (vote theft) is happening both at the state and national levels. “Vote chori is happening — not just in Haryana but across India. We got numerous complaints from our candidates that something was wrong. Every prediction went upside down. So, we decided to dig deeper into Haryana to find out what really happened,” Gandhi said. According to him, all opinion and exit polls had projected a massive victory for Congress. “Every single poll pointed to a Congress sweep. Five exit polls said Congress was winning by a huge margin,” Gandhi stated. This has never happened before. Normally, postal and actual votes follow the same direction. When I saw the data, I asked my team to cross-check because it was unbelievable,” he said. Gandhi claimed that upon further investigation, the party discovered glaring irregularities that point to a pre-planned manipulation of the voter lists and polling process. Among the most shocking findings he listed were: A Brazilian model"s photograph appearing in 10 booths, casting 22 votes under different names. A booth where 223 votes were linked to the same photo, with each name changed. A single non-existent house showing 501 registered voters on paper. Across Haryana, 1,24,177 voters were found with fake or duplicated photographs. Thousands of individuals were registered as voters in both Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, including BJP leaders and workers. Several entries were listed under “House No. 0” — even though no such houses physically exist. “This isn"t clerical error — this is an organized, well-planned operation to steal an election,” Gandhi asserted. Adding to the controversy, the Congress leader released a video clip featuring Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, in which the BJP leader is seen smiling and telling reporters that “arrangements” had been made before the counting of votes. “This statement came two days after polling, at a time when every exit poll showed Congress sweeping Haryana. What were these arrangements he was talking about? It"s now clear what he meant. That "Vyavastha" (arrangement) was nothing but a setup to fix the results,” Gandhi said. Gandhi alleged that the BJP, with the Election Commission"s complicity, converted Congress"s landslide victory into a loss. “We are certain that a plan was executed to turn a Congress win into a BJP victory. The Election Commission"s silence and the BJP"s confidence tell the entire story,” he said, adding that the Congress eventually lost Haryana by a margin of just 22,779 votes. He described the findings as “proof beyond doubt” that the democratic process was undermined deliberately. “I am questioning the Election Commission and the democratic system of India — and I"m doing so with 100% proof,” Gandhi said. In an emotional appeal, he called upon India"s youth, especially Gen-Z voters, to defend democracy through truth, non-violence, and mass participation in future elections. “I urge India"s young people — the Gen-Z generation — to take the path of truth and non-violence. Come out in large numbers to vote. The biggest weapon against vote theft and to protect democracy is your vote,” he said. Gandhi concluded by saying the H-Files expose how an entire state was “stolen” through a nexus of political power and institutional silence. “This is bigger than just one election. This is about the soul of India"s democracy. And we will not let them destroy it in the name of "Vyavastha",” he declared. "
