A potential security scare unfolded outside Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut's bungalow in Bhandup in MumbaiMaharashtra, on Wednesday afternoon when a parked WagonR car was discovered with a threatening message scrawled on its dusty window.

The handwritten note read: "Aaj Hoga Hungama 12 Baje bomb blast" (translated as "There will be chaos today, bomb blast at 12 am").

Alert supporters of the senior leader immediately notified the police, prompting a swift response. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough search of Raut's residence and the surrounding area.

After an extensive inspection, authorities confirmed that no suspicious objects or explosives were detected, ruling out any immediate danger.

Police seized the vehicle for further examination and are in the process of registering an FIR against an unidentified individual for issuing the hoax threat. Investigations are underway to trace the owner of the car and determine the motive behind the message.

The incident caused brief tension in the locality but was quickly brought under control. Sanjay Raut, a prominent critic of the ruling establishment, has faced security concerns in the past, making such threats a matter of serious attention for law enforcement agencies.

No official statement has been issued by Raut or his party yet regarding the episode.
