Epstein Offered 'Tall Swedish Blonde' to Indian Tycoon Anil Ambani, Newly Released Messages Reveal

New Delhi: Jeffrey Epstein explicitly offered to arrange a "tall Swedish blonde woman" for Indian businessman Anil Ambani during their communications in 2017, according to newly unsealed US Justice Department documents that expose the disgraced financier's extensive outreach to global elites.

The elites include prominent figures in India. His alleged controversial works continued even years after his 2008 guilty plea for procuring minors for prostitution.

In a text exchange dated March 9, 2017, Ambani asked Epstein, "Who do u suggest?" apparently in reference to a visitor or companion. Epstein replied almost immediately, "a tall Swedish blonde woman, to make it fun to visit." Ambani responded in under 20 seconds, "Arrange that."

The conversation escalated with Epstein probing Ambani's preferences in women. When Ambani referenced a Hollywood connection, mentioning an upcoming film project with Scarlett Johansson (from the 2017 film  Ghost in the Shell, co-produced by Reliance Entertainment), Epstein quipped about avoiding "Meryl Streep" and later added, "I am glad you prefer young blondes to old ones."

The messages form part of a broader trove of exchanges between the two men spanning early 2017 through 2019, just months before Epstein's July 2019 federal sex-trafficking arrest. Topics ranged from world affairs and business to personal tastes and in-person meetups.

The pair discussed a missed rendezvous in Paris in 2017, reactions to Donald Trump at the 2018 Davos World Economic Forum, and a confirmed meeting at Epstein's Upper East Side Manhattan home in May 2019, after which Epstein messaged Ambani: "today was a treat, nice seeing you." Epstein had also offered discreet introductions during that New York visit, "And if there are some people you would like to meet quietly. Let me know."

Epstein's interest in the Ambani family was evident earlier that year when he ordered books including Ambani & Sons and Storms in the Sea Wind: Ambani Vs Ambani, which detail the billionaire brothers' business empire and their bitter 2002 feud following their father Dhirubhai's death. Anil Ambani, once a major tycoon heading Reliance Group (focused on infrastructure and power), has faced a dramatic financial decline in recent years, including near-bankruptcy and ongoing investigations in India over alleged large-scale bank-loan fraud.

The documents also show Epstein name-dropping Ambani to other high-profile contacts, such as asking Deepak Chopra for impressions of the Indian businessman (Chopra described him as "V rich, V much wanting to be noticed, V celebrity conscious") and suggesting venture capitalist Peter Thiel connect with him.

So far, there has been no official response from the Ambani side regarding the reports.
