The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as a whole swept to victory with 202 seats, bolstered by the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) haul of 72 seats.

On the opposition front, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) managed to secure 20 seats while leading in five more, and the Congress won three constituencies with leads in six additional ones. The CPI(ML) Liberation claimed one seat and was ahead in two others.

Vote tabulation is underway across 243 centres, overseen by returning officers and an equivalent number of Election Commission observers. Over 18,000 candidates and their representatives are present to ensure transparency in the counting process.

The elections, held in two phases and concluding on November 11, served as a critical referendum on Nitish Kumar—the state's longest-serving chief minister—amid questions over his frequent alliance shifts and growing public discontent.
