Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the location and discovered the ammonium nitrate packed in 187 sacks. The material, commonly associated with both legitimate uses and past terror incidents, including the car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort in November 2025, was seized along with a substantial quantity of explosive accessories.

In addition to the ammonium nitrate, police recovered nine cartons of detonators, 12 cartons and 15 bundles of blue fuse wire, and 12 cartons and five bundles of red fuse wire.

The accused, identified as Suleman Khan, a resident of Harsaur village, was arrested on the spot. According to Nagaur Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa, Khan has three prior criminal cases registered against him.

Preliminary interrogation indicates that the suspect was allegedly involved in supplying explosives to individuals engaged in both legal and illegal mining operations in the region. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Explosives Act.

The SP further stated that central agencies have been informed of the recovery and are likely to question the accused as part of a broader investigation into the source, distribution, and potential misuse of the seized materials.
