According to the latest update, one more tourist remains untraced. The missing person has been identified as Mahadev (24). Meanwhile, another tourist has been rescued earlier on Friday and is currently undergoing medical treatment, sources said.

The incident occurred at the high-altitude Sela Pass–Sela Lake area, where a seven-member tourist group from Kerala had travelled for sightseeing. While exploring the snow-covered lake area, members of the group reportedly went out of contact, triggering a rescue operation.

The Indian Army, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel are continuing search and rescue operations in the region.

Officials said the terrain is extremely rugged and inaccessible, and adverse weather conditions are posing serious challenges to the ongoing operation.

Rescue teams remain deployed at the site as efforts continue to locate the missing tourist.
