Arunachal Cricket Team's Under-19 match hopes uncertain as Indigo cancels flight

The third day of Indigo Airlines' operational disruptions has led to widespread chaos, with over 1,000 flights cancelled globally. In Guwahati, around 15 flights were cancelled, and several others were delayed, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded at the airport.

The cancelled flights include 6E623, 6E6720, 6E748, 6E6913, 6E146, 6E2154, and 6E572, which were scheduled to land in Guwahati. Flights scheduled to depart from Guwahati, including 6E6416, 6E6720, 6E2154, 6E930, 6E6458, and 6E146, were also cancelled.

Several flights from Guwahati were delayed, with some experiencing delays of up to 7 hours. The 6E6457 flight to Dibrugarh, scheduled to depart at 10 am, will now depart at 4:20 pm. The 6E2154 flight to Agartala, scheduled to depart at 10:40 am, will now depart at 6 pm.

The situation has caused widespread frustration, with passengers expressing their anger and disappointment at the airline's handling of the situation. The Arunachal cricket team, which was scheduled to travel to Ahmedabad for an Under-19 match, is also stuck in Guwahati. The team had arrived at the airport by road, expecting to catch their flight, but it was suddenly cancelled.

Passengers are demanding that the airline provide them with adequate compensation and arrangements for their onward journey. The situation is expected to worsen as more flights are likely to be cancelled or delayed, causing further inconvenience to passengers.
