The waiting shed, constructed in 2006 by the local organisation Suryodaya Sangha for the convenience of daily commuters, was a crucial shelter for passengers waiting for vehicles, particularly during heavy rain and harsh sunlight. However, residents woke up to find the structure completely removed, with no trace left behind.

According to locals, the demolition was carried out under the cover of darkness, raising serious questions about who was responsible for the act. Following the incident, angry residents took to the streets in protest, demanding a proper investigation and immediate reconstruction of the waiting shed.

Notably, a Maruti dealership had earlier been located adjacent to the demolished structure. Locals questioned employees of the nearby Maruti establishment regarding the incident, but they reportedly expressed complete ignorance.

The sudden disappearance of the waiting shed has sparked widespread speculation and concern in the area. Residents have alleged that the demolition may have been carried out by the nearby Maruti dealer authorities, taking advantage of the night, though no official confirmation has been made.

The aggrieved residents have decided to approach the Noonmati Police Station, seeking a thorough inquiry into the matter. They have urged the authorities to identify those responsible and ensure the immediate reconstruction of the passenger waiting shed in the interest of public convenience.
