A park named after Zubeen Garg will be constructed on a 30-bigha plot of land near the Gaurang River in Chandamari, marking a significant tribute to the iconic singer. The park's foundation stone will be laid by BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary on November 18, coinciding with Zubeen Garg's birth anniversary.

The event will feature a massive gathering of 25,000 artists and fans from five districts of BTC, who will perform the iconic song "Mayabini" in both Assamese and Bodo languages. To commemorate the occasion, 53 saplings of Nahor trees will be planted.

Preparations for the event are in full swing, with hundreds of workers, tractors, and JCB machines working day and night. The road from Kokrajhar to Chandrapara has been newly pitched, and the route leading to the IT Park has been renovated. The walls along the road have been painted with vibrant images of Zubeen Garg, giving the entire area a fresh new look.

The celebrations will be a fitting tribute to the legendary singer, who has contributed immensely to the music and culture of Assam.
