Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to Visit Assam on Feb 18 for Two-Day Organisational Tour

Senior AICC leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will arrive in Assam on February 18 for a two-day visit focused on reviewing the party’s organisational preparedness and election strategy in the state.

As the All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader in charge of Assam’s election responsibilities, her visit is being viewed as significant for the party’s internal coordination.

Packed Schedule on Day One

Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to reach Guwahati at 11 am on February 18. Shortly after her arrival, she will head to Rajiv Bhawan to attend a meeting of the Election Committee at 11:30 am. At 12 noon, she will participate in a meeting of the Political Affairs Committee, followed by discussions at 12:45 pm with the five presidents of the Assam Election Committee.

In the afternoon, at 2 pm, she will hold a separate meeting with all Congress MLAs to assess legislative strategies and grassroots coordination. Later at 5 pm, she will meet the party’s 35 district presidents to review district-level organisational matters. The day’s engagements will conclude with a meeting at 10 pm with the Leader of the Opposition.

Focus on Party Structure on Day Two

On February 19, the AICC leader will resume her meetings at 10 am with the APCC president and working presidents. At 11 am, she is scheduled to interact with Members of Parliament from the party. This will be followed by a meeting at 12 noon with the heads of various party cells.

At 1 pm, Priyanka Gandhi will leave Rajiv Bhawan for the Manabendra Sharma Complex. There, at 2:30 pm, she will hold discussions with BCC presidents and APCC office bearers, continuing her review of the party’s organisational network.

She is scheduled to depart for Delhi at 5:30 pm, concluding her two-day visit aimed at strengthening the Congress party’s groundwork in Assam.
