A devastating road accident occurred in Hailakandi district, Assam, resulting in the death of a primary school teacher. Hasib Uddin, the head teacher of Chinana Lower Primary School in Ramkrishna Nagar block, lost his life in a head-on collision between a bus and a motorcycle on National Highway 6 in the Janaki Bazar area.

According to eyewitnesses, Uddin was riding his motorcycle from Silchar to Ramkrishna Nagar when the accident occurred. The collision was fatal, and Uddin succumbed to his injuries.

Road accidents are unfortunately common in India, with the country witnessing a significant number of fatalities on its roads. Just recently, other accidents have made headlines, such as a father-son duo killed in a road accident in Hailakandi's Nishchintapur village when a tipper truck struck them. Another incident reported a bus collision blaze in southern India that killed at least 20 people.
