Assam: Congress Chief Gaurav Gogoi’s Car Meets with an Accident in Jorhat, Escapes Unhurt

Jorhat: The official vehicle of Lok Sabha MP and Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi met with an accident in Jorhat, Assam, on Thursday afternoon while he was on his way to address a press conference at the Rajiv Bhawan.

According to reports, the car collided with a bridge railing after the driver suddenly fell ill and lost control of the vehicle.

Fortunately, Gaurav Gogoi escaped without any injury. Neither he nor any other occupant of the car was hurt in the incident.

Undeterred by the mishap, the Congress MP reached the venue to address the scheduled press conference on time.

Congress spokesperson, Rhituparna Konwar said that the accident was a minor one and the MP did not sustain any injuries. However, the driver may have sustained some injuries as he was unwell.

He will get checked for any possible health issues.
