The additional MoUs expected at Davos are likely to further strengthen Assam’s growth trajectory, with a focus on job creation, infrastructure expansion, and allied economic sectors.The engagements and negotiations being held during Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s visit are placing particular emphasis on green and new-age energy sectors, while also positioning Assam as an emerging investment destination on the global stage. The interactions are also aimed at enhancing India’s overall investment appeal and international economic profile.Speaking to reporters on the second day of the forum, the chief minister said Assam has steadily built credibility among investors and is increasingly being viewed as a reliable destination for long-term investments.
