According to local sources, Ali Hussain claimed to solve domestic disputes and personal problems through supernatural practices such as love spells, black magic, and driving away evil spirits. He allegedly demanded money from people by assuring quick solutions to their problems. The matter came to light after a dispute broke out at a house, raising suspicion among locals about his activities.

Following this, residents confronted the accused and searched him. During the search, several papers used for fake vashikaran rituals were recovered along with ₹4,900 in cash. The locals accused him of deceiving innocent people and taking advantage of their emotional and mental distress.

The incident once again highlights how, despite scientific progress and increased awareness, a section of society continues to believe in superstitions that often lead to financial exploitation.

Locals have strongly condemned the act and appealed to people to stay away from superstition. They also demanded strict action against fraudsters involved in such activities to prevent similar incidents in the future.
